The set comes with five level appropriate readers. These seem to be children's books. Titles include: The Girl, The Tale of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Hachi</span>, John goes to Japan, and two titles that I can't read. I was amazed when I opened the first book and found that I could read it. Granted that the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">kanji</span> is augmented with <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">furigana</span>, but up to this point I've had very little application of either vocabulary or <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">grammar outside</span> of the academic. It is charming to read these simple stories.
